April in the Lowcountry has been as can be expected – blustery and temperamental! That’s OK, though, and good, actually. It means that our warmer weather is coming back, pushing against the cold northerly fronts as every day gets lighter and longer. The marsh grass is 3-4′ deep now and coming on strong, and the fish have responded! We’ve been able to fish ‘around the weather’, getting out despite the sometimes rough conditions for 4+ trips every week. And on those days? The bite is ON. Flounder, trout, reds… everyone is waiting for you to come give them a sore lip. 🙂 Give Georgetown Charters a call today, and come get your slice of the spring fun!
